HÄXER

This is Witch Punk from Telemark, Norway. The band is characterized by aggressive social criticism shouted out so loudly that it feels both good and painful. It all creates an oppressive yet unifying aggression towards an unwanted realism.
Häxer released their first EP on January 13, 2024. It consists of 4 har-hitting songs with witch punk, encompassing both the ugly and beautiful, the painful and good. The band addresses class struggle, mental health, injustice, and the idea that no one are free until all are free. They position themselves well in NWONHM (New wave of Norwegian Heavy Metal) but with a firm foot in gritty punk, delivering an unparallelled performance on stage.
Häxer does everything DIY today; blood, sweat and tears! The band will be playing in and around Oslo during the spring in 2024 and will be opening the punkfestival “Løddepønk Wakestockfestival” in the summer. They are working on some more surprises for the summer and looking at gigs for the autumn of 2024, both within Norway and outside.
The band filled Brewgata to the brim at their releaseparty on January 13th and always gives it their all on stage and together with the audience on the floor.
